EVALUATION
Grades for Completion
You will be graded in the form of A, B, C, or D, The higher the grade the harder you will work for it. Your list to use are as follows:
To receive an "A" grade:
- I state my conclusion and give clear explanations.
- I state my findings without fear or hesitations.
- I keep my story interesting to the reader.
- I have a clear understanding of the words that I use.
- My sentences are clear and complete.
- I use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
To receive a"B" grade:
- I stated my conclusion but failed to give good explanations.
- I am holding back on relating my true feelings.
- I need to add more personality to my writing.
- I am enjoying using new words.
- I am working on making my sentences clear.
- I am fixing my mistakes and sounding better.
To receive a "C" grade:
- I am not totally sure of myself in my findings
- I did not give enough points to come to a good decision.
- I am doing better with using descriptive words.
- I am starting to be more organized.
- My writing is a little vague.
- I am doing better on my punctuation and spelling
To receive a "D" grade:
- I did not follow directions but tried.
- I found the reading boring or I did not try.
- I did not have a good middle or conclusion.
- I need to get help with my reading.
- I need organizational skills.
- I may need a tutor.
